GREEN-LEAF PLANTS: It is enough to use 1 or 2 types of green-leaf plants: swiss chard, spinach, kale, basil, parsley, lettuce, arugula etc.
LIQUID: The water is the simplest addition to every smoothie, but if it is possible you can add squeezed orange juice, tangerine juice, citrus juice, apple or grape juice etc.
It will maximize the quantity of nutritive ingredients, vitamins and minerals into the smoothie and at the same time you will experience the explosion of tastes in your mouth!
There is a Great Recipe for You:
- 3 squeezed oranges
- 2 apples
- 1 pear
- 1 cup of lettuce
- Few basil leafs
- 1 spoon of Spirulina
You can add natural sweeteners to your prepared smoothies until you get used to combination of the mixed tastes of used products. As sweeteners you can add: dates (soaked ten minutes in warm water to soften nicely), agave syrup or honey (the most natural honey that you can find in the markets or directly from beekeepers).
The smoothie prepared like this is great source of larger quantities of fruit and green plants at your everyday’s life. But to this essential formula you can always add something extra which will increase the nutritive values and to allow additional benefits to your body.
As Extra Additions Use the Following:
• Seeds: flax, hemp, chia
• Berries: goji berries, cranberry, aronia
• Powder: cinnamon, wheat grass, Chlorella, Spirulina, maca (Lepidium meyenii)
